Yumi x Julia Sherman | R&D + Launch Ops for Chef Series SKUs
Yumi is a modern baby food company known for its chef collaborations and nutrition-first approach. I assisted chef and artists, Julia Sheerman through the development of three new limited edition chef series baby food jars collaborations with Yumi.
What I Led
I supported recipe development from early-stage formulation through pre-launch readiness. That included allergen-compliant ingredient research (no gluten, dairy, nuts or preservatives), sensory alignment with Yumi's visual and taste standards, and timeline coordination with the creative and production teams.
What Shifted
We developed three fully compliant SKUs - Butterfly Pea Coconut Cream, Sweet Potato & Buttercup Squash Purée, and Coconut Amaranth Porridge - that launched on time and held both brand integrity and nutritional innovation. The project balanced creative vision with regulatory and operational complexity, and it landed with Yumi's discerning, health-savvy, audience.
