Forested was a raw material supplier built to connect smallholder farmers in East Africa with personal care and food brands globally - replacing extractive sourcing models with regenerative, climate - aligned supply chains. As part of the founding team, I led U.S. operations and partnership development.
What I Led
I built go-to-market and back-end systems across vendor management, export logistics, and product positioning. My work bridged high-stakes international collaboration - between farmer cooperatives, brand innovation teams, compliance consultants, and co-manufacturers in the U.S. and UK. I also crafted regenerative partnerships decks and sourcing narratives to help emerging CPG brands understand the traceability, benefits, and values behind each ingredient.
What Shifted
We built successful partnerships with category-defining brands in clean beauty and natural wellness. Forested became a go-to partner for companies seeking intentional, high-integrity sourcing models - and created real-world alternatives to monoculture damage. I operated at the convergence of ethics, logistics, and brand growth - and built connective systems between farmers, and funded brands at scale.
